REPRESENTING
Objective
The purpose of these activities is to provide guidelines for the parents to scaffold children’s learning of effective representing with education apps.
Effective representing involves authoring activities and creativity in which one uses imagination to develop an artistic work that may be aesthetically attractive by manipulating available features such as visual symmetry, visual balance, bright colours, contrasting colours, composition, layout, size, and so on.
The learning activities are divided into 4 sessions according to Cope and Kalantzis’ (2015) Learning by Design framework.
