Which is an activity from the story that you like best?
SESSION 2 - CONCEPTUALISING/OVERT INSTRUCTION

During the second reading, as the child internalises the values transmitted via the narrative in the educational app, parents can guide the child to relate values to daily lives using the following prompters:
What are the roles of different members in our family?
How are the characters in the story similar or different to our family?
SESSION 3 - ANALYSING/CRITICAL FRAMING
Duration - 30 mins (Variable)
During the third reading, parents can perform a deep analysis of the narrative in the educational app with children to develop children's critical thinking.
Parents can consider guiding children with the following prompters to explore cause and effect relationships in the story:
Why do you think the characters behave in these ways?
Can you suggest other ways that they can behave?
SESSION 4 - APPLYING/TRANSFORMED PRACTICE
Duration - 30 mins (Variable)
To enable children to apply the values they have internalised, parents can consider guiding children to reflect on how values can be practised using the following prompters:
How can we show care for our family members?
